Vu Francois on Superpeer

Founder, Product Designer, Hot Sauce Maker

What’s poppin’? I’m Vu, a passionate product manager, multidisciplinary designer (who codes), battle-scarred founder, culturalist cowboy, & recent graduate of Cornell University’s Tech MBA program. I like designing, building, & branding both tech & non-tech products that push people to interact with the world differently. I always aim to converge my passions for aesthetics, storytelling, & data to create experiences that speak to contemporary culture & challenge what we think we already know. I’m currently working on Kanna, a people optimization platform for the cannabis industry, where I lead product. I'm also building B3BOP® , a media brand and internet community focused on tastemaking at the intersection of culture and tech. Previously, I co-founded Craterland, a video-sharing platform that redefines local TV, serving local stories to 6+ cities across the US. But, I’ve also designed, shipped, & worked on products for companies like First American, Couchbase, SAP, Nokia, Warby Parker, Techstars, Shell, Chevron, HPE, Dallas Cowboys, Hertz, Concur, NCR, & Toyota. I’m influenced by southern hip-hop, skate culture, & fine art, but cold brews, tacos, & really-hot hot sauces keep me going. (Yes, I’m also currently working on my own recipe. 🌶️) If you're working on something interesting or thinking about it, pick my brain. I love side-projects and helping others figure out theirs. Or, if you’re a company, I’m always casually taking contract, freelance, & consulting work.
