Plant Expert & Manager of Retail Operations at The Sill

Jess is The Sill's Manager of Retail Operations here in NYC. She oversees our brick and mortar stores across both coasts, working closely with Shop Managers to ensure a positive and memorable retail experience for customers and employees alike. Jess is originally from Nashville, TN but has lived in NYC for the past 12 years. Outside of her work at The Sill, you can find Jess working on floral design and collaborating on eco-friendly event breakdowns with Garbage Goddess. Jess has taught Plants 101, Potting and Soil and Terrarium workshops for the past 2 years in shops and at remote events. She likes to think about finding the right plants for your space like match-making--you have to know what both parties are looking for, be honest about what you can provide, and willing to make adjustments along the way!
