Corporate Development, Clio (ex-Shopify) | Host, Backbone Podcast I've spent 6+ years in M&A with experiences in sourcing, deal execution and integration. I currently lead Corp Dev at Clio - the leading legal practice management software used by 150,000 lawyers. Prior to that was part of Shopify's Corp Dev team looking for innovative commerce experiences that accelerated Shopify's product roadmap through investments and acquisitions. I teach a Masters course at the University of Waterloo on startup corporate finance - fundraising, operations and acquisitions. Prior to Shopify, I helped fund, grow and exit venture-backed startups at SurePath Capital Partners.
