Hey! My names Sam :) My life began in Philadelphia. Then, University in New York City (NYU) where I studied Marketing and Media and minored in Business Entertainment. While there I worked for 6 years in the music industry doing music festivals all over the world. This put me on the road for 9 months of the year in places such as Mexico, Europe, South America and China. Being in Amsterdam for those summers, I decided to relocate there and jump in to a new industry, advertising. For the past 3.5-4 years I have now been working in advertising doing global campaigns (TV/Film/Social) with clients such as Samsung, Ray-Ban, adidas, Facebook and airbnb at companies such a Wieden&Kennedy, TBWA and Brand Articulations. In the past year, while doing that, I am creating and launching my own product (coming soon). What no one tells you about life is that a lot of career paths are no longer linear. We don't stay within the same industry and it's okay to pivot. I've been mentoring and speaking with individuals doing the same for years for making that leap of faith jump is good....as long as you have a plan. Plan for 80% and allow the remaining 20% to guide you on your path.
