Nadia Piet on Superpeer

I'm Nadia Piet - a designer, researcher and organizer with a focus on AI, technology, (digital) culture + creativity. My work revolves around, questions, and practices how we shape, interact with, and relate to technology. In 2018, I started AIxDESIGN. What began as an online community for practitioners at the intersection, has since grown into a decentralized studio / living lab for participatory, critical & feminist AI. As the founder and creative director, I work with the team, contributors, and a community I adore to co-create alternative realities, narratives, and approaches to AI that make sense for the rest of us > see aixdesign.co. The other half of the week, I work on freelance client projects, collaborative research streams & self-initiated play. Previously, I worked as the Head of Creative Technology at DEPT Agency, a design researcher for emerging tech prototypes with Bit, I published the AI meets Design toolkit, facilitated workshops demystifying digital with DECODED, and freelanced for 10+ years across roles & continents. I hold an MA in Data-Driven Design (cum laude), BA in Business Innovation, and am a certified Yoga Teacher.
