Mike Salow is a multifaceted musician with decades of playing experience. He graduated with honors from McNally Smith College of Music and went on to teach there for several years after. He currently teaches at the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists, an arts focused high school, and is the founder of the Twin Cities based music lessons company, Ideal Music Lessons. Mike gigs regularly with various artists within the Twin Cities music scene. Most notably, he is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for Minneapolis based rock band Chester Bay. Chester Bay has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine and opened for acts such as Fitz and the Tantrums and The Avett Brothers. He is endorsed by Kiesel Guitars and Arobas Music. Mike has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career.
