Hi, I'm Mel! I create colourful, fun and playful art. My work celebrates humour, silliness and the unexpected to create joyful pieces which have a broad appeal to both children and adults. I am a qualified teacher, and worked as a Head of Art in a college for 15 years. I have also taught in Universities, community spaces, Art galleries and at outdoor events, and I also teach online, having taught over 10,000 students on Skillshare as a Top Teacher. I have taught a wide range of subjects including drawing, fashion illustration, textiles, sculpture, life drawing, graphic design, illustration, photography, architecture, life drawing, mindful art-making and more!
