John Tarnoff on Superpeer
Executive & Career Transition Coach
I support mid and late-career professionals in defining, planning, and achieving more meaningful and sustainable careers. Fired 39% during my 35 years as a film producer, studio executive, and tech entrepreneur, I learned how to turn setbacks into successes in a volatile business. I reinvented my own career at 50, earning a master’s degree in counseling psychology to share my career lessons with others going through similar challenges. Since leaving entertainment in 2010, I've coached top performers and senior leaders and led corporate and university workshops for as few as 10 and as many as 500 participants. Clients include Bank of America, Bridgewater Assoc., Carnegie-Mellon University, Levi-Strauss, Softbank, TD Ameritrade, Thrive Global, and UCLA Anderson School of Management. My best-selling book Boomer Reinvention: How to Create your Dream Career Over 50 launched on CBS This Morning in 2017. As an advocate for the multi-generational workforce, I have created and hosted four popular courses for LinkedIn Learning.
