Jack Greenfield is an angel investor, board member and advisor working with startups and private equity portfolio companies. He currently chairs due diligence, and serves on the executive board, for Tech Coast Angels in Los Angeles. Before TCA, Mr. Greenfield was VP of Engineering at Personal Library Software (AOL), Founder and CTO of Inline Software, Senior Director at PayPal, Distinguished Architect at eBay, Principal Architect at Microsoft, Chief Architect at IBM Rational, Senior Staff Engineer at Google, and an early key contributor at spin offs from Apple (NeXT) and eBay (X.Commerce). He has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with certificates in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and a BS in Physics with Biology minor from George Mason University. He has written two books and many papers and articles, and holds multiple patents. He is skilled in due diligence, valuation, operational oversight, and developing business strategy. His technical expertise is in big data, machine learning, cloud computing, ads and commerce, security and privacy.
