Gina led growth and marketing at Duolingo, the most downloaded education app in the world, from 3 to over 300 million users. As a part of the executive team and an early employee, Gina oversaw early partnerships, communication strategies, a/b testing growth sprints, and other responsibilities in an ever-changing startup environment. More recently, she joined the Mike Bloomberg presidential campaign to help oversee the creation of digital ad campaigns at a historical daily spend. Previously, she founded a boutique agency in Brazil to help tech companies grow in Brazil. She represented Tumblr in Latin America, creating and implementing a strategy that led to hockey-stick growth via tactics spanning PR, community, localization, and partnerships. She also led MediaMath’s launch in the country and developed international digital marketing campaigns for luxury brands such as LVMH, Estée Lauder and American Express. She's had the honor of giving keynotes at conferences in Brazil, Mexico, the United States, and China, and of presenting to President Obama. Gina has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Brandeis University, where she co-authored a neuroscience study about socio-cultural differences in memory and aging.
