I'm an expert in advanced behavioral analytics, with a focus on decision making, social interaction, community, and governance. I've been at it for a decade. I was a behavioral economist at Disney Research Zurich, within Walt Disney Imagineering. Before that I built and passed along one successful mission-based company. I hold a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science. I'm a professor at UC Davis, a top 10 public university one hour from the Bay. My research there is advancing computational social science in the direction of governance, community, and cooperation. My trajectory has taken me through Berkeley, Indiana, Switzerland, and Dartmouth. My work has been featured in New York Times Magazine, the TEDx franchise, BBC Radio, Hacker News, Hacker Noon, and Towards Data Science.
