“After graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, I began my marketing career as a Marketing Coordinator and Analyst with FedEx. In this role, I drafted marketing proposals and editorial copy-writing content, as well as analyzed and presented marketing strategies that aligned with the Company’s quarterly objectives. Since that experience, I have relentlessly pursued and excelled in positions that challenge me to grow and develop as a marketing professional. As a Marketing Consultant with Walgreens, I used my analytical skills to evaluate market research and provide solutions concerning regional marketing initiatives, which increased sales by 5% for two consecutive quarters for eight Walgreens stores in my region. Additionally, I used my marketing skills to develop marketing strategies across various digital platforms and implement strategic initiatives for key analytics. During my experience with Walgreens, I managed a team of 13 direct reports and oversaw a 1.2 million dollar budget. During this experience, I was often faced with problems that required multiple solutions. As a result, I learned to anticipate objections and prepare responses, meet each issue with a contingency plan, and be creative with problem solving. Furthermore, I acquired effective leadership skills to effectively manage teams. The pursuit of my MBA from The University of Georgia has helped me further develop my organizational and communication skills, as well as obtain skills to adapt to a constantly evolving domestic and global marketing and management industry. Moreover, my academic and work experience has provided me with substantial experience communicating and collaborating with people at all levels and across disciplines within organizations, successfully serving as a team member, and working with diverse groups.
