Q&A with a Professional Photographer series by

I’ve been working as a professional photographer for over a decade and get to travel the world covering fashion-related events, but also shoot commercial work for fashion and sports brands. Through my one-on-one courses on Superpeer I’ve found that I’ve had to put into words many things which happen silently inside of my head in order to help the student understand how or why I do what I do. This has been a very rewarding experience for me, and it’s pushed me to analyze how my brain works in the high-stress environments I work in. It has also pushed me to develop this series. This course will be a very loose framework. We will start off with an introduction, so you can better get to know me. However, after that, the course will largely be dictated by those attending. Enrollees will need to come ready to ask questions, suggest topics to cover, and share your own experiences!

I’ve been around the block...and by the block, I mean the world...probably a few hundred times by now. My work has taken me to 48 countries and I’ve seen (seemingly) it all. As I’ve stated in the course title, most of what I do is automatic, and in the course of providing one-on-one classes on Superpeer I’ve found that MOST students are curious about the things which I do automatically. In the past months I’ve had to find ways to put into words the split-second decisions I make, and explain why! Let’s establish what we all want to know, my job, although established, is very, very likely going to run parallel with yours – regardless of where you are with photography. I get nervous. I get anxiety. I bullshit. I’m probably just like you. So let’s use my experience to help you find your path!
